But within just a week of swapping out added sugars for wholesome alternatives, I realised it is easier than I thought. I can still enjoy the food I love, just a healthier version of it. I noticed a shift in energy, an improvement in my skin, and less of that constant dehydration. And most interestingly, my sugar cravings stopped. I no longer felt like I MUST have chocolate every day; regular products started to taste way too sweet for me. And because I was getting a dose of natural sweetness from real-food alternatives, it, in a way, killed the sugar craving.
